Healthy Homes are places where you can maintain your health and energy levels, sleep well, be free from chemical and toxic overload, feel good, look good, and age well.
Where we live and work, our homes and workplaces can affect our health and how we feel. They can either affect them positively or negatively depending on how they are built, designed and operated.
How do I Make my Home Healthy?
The first step in creating healthy homes is to get rid of the crap, the poison, and the chemicals. You've all heard the Feng Shui experts saying, declutter!
Detoxing the home is a part of the decluttering.
Oh, and remember to dispose of poisons and chemicals in the way safely! Please follow your local council or government authority recommendations. If you are handling very poisonous substances, call in the experts or wear protective gear. Don't lose your health by being lazy with this.

It really does help to hear and read other people's stories. When we were suffering with mold issues (and didn't know it) I read the book "Homes That Heal" and it really opened my eyes to what was happening to us. Everyone should be more informed about these issues.

What you do in the home can make the single biggest difference to the health of the indoor environment; e.g. avoid smoking indoors, don’t let dust build up, don’t leave the car running in the garage and be wary of all fumes – if it smells bad then in all likelihood it IS bad!
